This important advisory group addresses the focus and priorities for CCSF. The FAC represents the Cornell faculty by bringing crucial information into CCSF and broadcasting information about CCSF to interested faculty. The FAC aids in the development of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for seed projects and assists in choosing the top proposals to fund. The FAC helps determine the appropriate metrics and milestones for projects and for the center itself. Members and sub-committees of the FAC may stimulate and organize workshops and symposia including workshops and information sessions on the CCSF RFP. FAC members may also serve on or chair ad hoc committees or subcommittees. The FAC is expected to help engage potential external partners and participate in meetings with external partners both on and off campus. As appropriate, the FAC members participate in other activities that contribute to accomplishing the CCSF mission.
